OperaBabes, are a renowned classical crossover duo based in the UK comprising of Rebecca Knight (Soprano) and Karen England (Mezzo), They first gained attention busking in London's Covent Garden in 2001 and quickly rose to fame after their performances at the F.A. Cup Final, and the Champion's League Final in Milan, subsequently signing with Sony Records.
Their journey has led to the release of three studio albums with Sony Records (Beyond Imagination), Instant Karma, (Renaissance) and Warner Classics (Silent Noon). They have graced the stage with some of the world's leading orchestras, performed alongside Placido Domingo at the LA Opera and were the first classical act to perform at the legendary Stardust Casino in Las Vegas. Additionally, they have had the honour of performing live opera performances for Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II on multiple occasions.
2026 sees the duo set to celebrate their 25-year anniversary with a new release titled 'On Your Way', available on June 19th, perfectly timed with their first live event of the year at Derby Cathedral. This is to be followed by their next single, 'Danny Boy', which will be available to stream from July 31st.
This year, OperaBabes are excited to present live performances across the UK, with more new releases planned and studio time dedicated to creating new, original music this summer. OperaBabes will be touring the UK in 2027.
